Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Kandi Burruss, Nick Cannon and Nicole Scherzinger in “The Masked Singer” on May 20, 2020.
We all had to adapt to the new normal, and The Masked Singer is no exception. The costumed fox doing a song festival is getting ready for its fourth season, and things will be a little different this time. For the first time, the home audience will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite masked celebrity artists as part of a virtual studio audience due to crowd restrictions imposed through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Judge Robin Thicke revealed the adjustments on Twitter on Thursday, August 20, writing, “For #TheMaskedSinger enthusiasts: we need them in our ‘internal audience’ for Season 4! We do things a little differently and you can help those who stay and those who come home each week while you watch. Let’s go! “. The electorate interested in the house can click here to register and have the possibility to be in the public of the house.
According to the fine print, manufacturers are looking for a team of Masked Singer superfans from across the country to take components on an online panel, giving them exclusive access to next season’s performances. “You can cheer up and (mostly) vote for your favorite new masked singers as part of our first audience of the house!” reads one on the program’s website. “Your votes will help make a decision about who will remain under the mask and move on to the competition. Masks that receive the fewest votes will be withdrawn and are in danger of being unmasked.”
Any interested person will have to point out a confidentiality agreement and an appearance authorization, point out the episode they should practically attend and have a computer or smartphone with a webcam and streaming capabilities. According to Deadline, the screen has resumed production for the fall season, which is expected to air next month. As Hollywood continues to struggle to restart the strict regulations imposed by the new coronavirus, the site reported that the screen returned to production this week with “rigorous fitness and protection protocols,” adding normal temperature controls, social estrangement, and PPE equipment.
