“The Open House” premiered in 2018. Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote directed, wrote and produced this mystery about a woman and her son who move into a space inhabited by malevolent forces. Shaun Munro of Flickering Myth said the film is “practically tension-free horror film and depressingly sweet”. The film won incredibly poor reviews from critics; its IMDb user score is 3. 2/10′ and its Rotten Tomatoes audience score is 8%.
