Returning to the social media app on Wednesday, the former presenter shared a photo of his dog Alfie watching Formula 1 just inches from his bedroom. Alongside the caption, he wrote: “Luckily Alfie is a big fan of @f1. ” Phillip, who has 2. 8 million followers, limited comments to him on the post, meaning only 4 posts can be noted at the time of publication. One of his comments came from his lawyer niece Matilda Graham, who is the daughter of his wife Stephanie Lowe’s sister. Array expressed her admiration for the photo and shared a heart-eyed emoji, while Fran Quinn, from Brighton, wrote: “Very cute!” This Morning customer expert Alice Beer also commented: “Funny! Stan doesn’t watch anything on TV. He just doesn’t register. ” Food editor Kate Bishop added: “F1 squared. ” Since he shared the photo this morning, the post has also garnered over 42,000 likes, 4 of which are from his former This Morning co-stars; Rochelle Humes, Craig Doyle, Dermot O’Leary and Josie Gibson.

As part of his return to Instagram, Phillip also replaced his profile picture with that of his beloved dog, but kept his bio that reads, “Nothing beats kindness, it’s quietly beyond all things. “
Phillip’s most recent post is his first in more than a year after he left the ITV screen on May 20, 2023.
The presenter left after revealing an affair with a young worker while running on This Morning.
He called the quotes “reckless but not illegal” and apologized for lying to his colleagues, employers, the media and the general public.

It has been reported that the presenter is considering returning to television after being seen having dinner for four hours with Declan Donnelly.
A source told The Sun: “Some TV executives have been in touch with Phil about a possible comeback and his friends have told him he deserves to think about it.
“We don’t know yet if he’ll come back, whether it’s on TV or radio, but the offers are there if he needs to pursue them. His friends told him they would support him until the end. “
The former ITV star also recruited his daughter, Molly, as his new publicist.
The 30-year-old worked at YMU for more than eight years but left the company in January 2023, months before her father was laid off.
