Vanessa Morgan, pregnant, stores her baby’s ultrasound in Michael Kopech’s divorce

Vanessa Morgan is a proud mom!

On Wednesday, the 28-year-old Riverdale star took an inventory of her pregnancy by sharing an ultrasound of her bathroom along the way.

“It’s a little trick,” he wrote on Twitter.

Next to the ultrasound photo, Morgan, a red-hearted emoji with the hashtag “great football”.

The tweet is Morgan’s first social media post since it emerged that her husband, Chicago White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech, had filed for divorce after six months of marriage.

Kopech, 24, filed divorce documents in the state of his Texas home on June 19, the Chicago Tribune reported on July 27, filing court documents in Morris County and the date of the hearing was not indicated, according to the downgrade.

Last month, a representative of Morgan showed PEOPLE that Kopech is the father of Morgan’s baby on the way, but declined to comment on the divorce application. A spokesman for Kopech responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

When Morgan announced her pregnancy in July, Kopech appeared in any of the photos or videos shared on her social media accounts.

“I was debating keeping this component of my life hidden, but I knew other people would end up watching shots with my abdomen and I looked for you to hear it from me,” Morgan started at an Instagram slideshow. “I need to keep this bankruptcy of my life personal, but I was looking to be the first to share the news.”

“I am very happy to welcome my little one to the world in January,” she continued. “It’s almost as if everything [sic] I think is vital in this life has completely changed. We’re here for a bigger goal and a life. it’s so precious.”

The actress also addressed her baby on the way in the pregnancy announcement, writing, “I can’t how much expansion and strength you’ve given me as a mom. It’s like God knows I needed you, my angel. The universe works in a mysterious way but still works as intended.”

“Little you’ve done so much love and it’s already sheds such a strong sweetness that it warms my belly. Thank God for this blessing ☺️ I am so pleased and look forward to dedicating myself every day to being the most productive mother imaginable that is ?,” she added.

Morgan concluded his message with a phrase from Robert Munsch’s I Love You Forever, quoting, “I will love you forever, I will love you as long as my baby lives, you will be ?’- if you know you know #preggers ? ? ??.”
