Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce won the home run derby at the Cleveland Browns’ Celebrity Softball Game benefit event David Njoku on Saturday.

According to Camryn Justice of Cleveland’s ABC News Five, former Browns running back Kareem Hunt held the lead with 10 home runs before Kelce hit the floor. Kelce edged him out by one point to win the crown.
The athletes and celebrities were then divided into two teams, one led by Njoku and the one led by Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett.
Kelce himself on Garrett’s team, which won the game 20-5.
Kelce is from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, 14 miles from the event venue at Classic Auto Group Park in Eastlake. This box serves as the home of the Lake County Captains, High-A affiliates of the Cleveland Guardians.
He is also close to Njoku, who had some very kind words to say to him.
“That’s my boy, man,” Njoku said, according to the Associated Press. “Honestly, he’s one of the purest human beings I’ve ever met in my life. He has intelligent intentions. Just great, man. “
According to the judge, the proceeds from ticket sales for the occasion will be donated to local charities, especially those that cater to local youth.
