Dr. Quentin Lee, the director of Childersburg High School in Alabama went viral with a video of MC Hammer’s famous song, “U Can’t Touch This,” to warn academics about the risks of coronavirus when they return to school.

Lee told USA Today that he sought to highlight things that academics don’t touch because of COVID-19, adding: “In the most sensible way, it’s MC Hammer. Who doesn’t love MC Hammer? The question of whether schools reopening amid the coronavirus pandemic has provoked local and national debate.

The video shows Lee dressed in a mask armed with a hand sanitizer and a contactless thermometer. “Alabama director Dr. Quentin J. The principal told USA Today that he was looking to make a return to school more fun for kids.

“Basically, I really looked to do something fun for the back-to-school season to write a lot of new things we had to do,” Lee told the news site. “I like to make silly little videos for kids, just to get them excited at school. I looked for anything to help publicize the community.

According to USA Today, Jaylen Mitchell recorded the video and also featured scholars Zay, Jaden and Aniyah, as porr trainer Jessica Veazey. “Special thanks to: Jessica Veazey, Zay, Jaden and Aniyah-Actors. CityVizualz by videography,” says the YouTube page.

Lee’s biographical page on the school’s online page indicates that he has been director of Childersburg High School since 2017. Previously, he was director of Talladega County Central High School, senior assistant at Childersburg Middle School and organizational director of Talladega County Central High School.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in instrumental music education from the University of Alabama A-M, a master’s degree from Samford University of Instructional Leadership and mentions “Ed.S.” Educational Leadership Jacksonville State University ‘y’ Ed.D. Instructional Leadership Samford University’ on its biological page.

“I’m married to my lovely wife Anita Coachman Lee,” she writes. “He is a physiotherapy doctor and lately works in and around Calhoun County. I have 3 glorious children; Kiesha Lee, freshman at Highlands College, Birmingham. Cass, a six-year-old girl full of power and joy, a freshman at Munford Elementary, and Aniya, the daring four-year-old who has mastered the ability to be adorable and informed to read.

He is a board member of the Anniston Youth Orchestra and a board member of Alabama Childhood Food Solutions.
