The entire electorate will participate in a draw for the possibility of winning $1,000 to complete their own makeover. Each vote counts as an entry to win the prize and participants can register once a day. The winners of the FrogTapePaintover Challenge® and the draw will be announced on September 4, 2020.
While the festival began with 15 participants, the prominent in-house decorator and spokesperson for the FrogTape® brand, Taniya Nayak, reduced the number of finalists to five. The rules of the redesign contest were simple: DIY fans had to redo their area with paint alone, painter’s tape and a budget of $500. Each influencer has also been assigned a FrogTape® 2020 design trend to incorporate into their transformation. Nayak then judged the projects based on originality, the use of painting and painter’s tape, and how each of the influencers incorporated his tendency.
