The Gameday College team will be at one of the biggest games of the school football season to be filmed at Ohio Stadium. This is the venue for the Ohio State Buckeyes, ranked No. 5, at Midday Eastern.
The celebrity picker has ties to the Ohio State Program. Starting Buckeyes trainer and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields will be the guest pickup this week.
The exhibition will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN from nine a. m. ET until Saturday.
Gameday’s cast college will come with the following personalities:
Justin Fields, the only student from Ohio State, who appears at Gameday College as a guest collector. The display has seen a former Buckeyes player do so in each of the past two seasons.
Last season saw Houston quarterback C. J. Stroud be the celebrity picker. Last year saw former Ohio State player and an existing co-host on “The Pat McAfee Show” A. J. Hawk do his variety for the big game.
The game between the Indiana Hoosiers and the Ohio State Buckeyes may have significant implications for the school football playoffs. That the team loses, this game is probably far from the Big Ten Conference championship game, as the Oregon Ducks have already clinched their spot.
Losing the convention championship game can be the difference between making the 12-team school football playoffs and missing it altogether.
While an argument can technically be made for Indiana’s loss on its record, the 10-place drop would be a big drop for a loss if Ohio State flounders here.
There’s a situation that unless one team is blown up here, they’ve both done enough to make the college football playoffs. However, the loss leaves the committee, while a win makes the program’s program curriculum much more potent with a win opposing an opponent in the top five.
