EXCLUSIVE: The reboot of ABC Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, one of the last unwrplayed exhibitions of the entire production before COVID-19 production ended in March.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is back for a moment the season presented through Kimmel on ABC, and Deadline understands that the show, in the British format, is back in production as of today.
The exhibition is filmed in Los Angeles with minimal equipment and no audience. There are strict protection and conditioning protocols that meet all national and local needs, as well as union and industrial standards for production.
Notable contenders, betting for a charity, who gave the impression in the first season of the reboot were Eric Stonestreet of Modern Family, Will Forte of The Last Man on Earth, Kaitlin Olson of Flipped and Anderson Cooper of CNN. They won a new lifeguard “Ask the Host” given the lack of audience.
The exhibition is produced through Sony Pictures Television’s Embassy Row, Kimmelot and Disney’s Valleycrest Productions and is scheduled to air Sunday night from ABC’s fall show.

Earlier this spring, ABC nameless chef Rob Mills told Deadline that he was incredibly pleased with the way the exhibition was creative and in terms of audience. “We went under the wire and it turned out to be great,” he said. When this was originally presented through Michael Davies, he came here and said that’s what was intended to be, short-term occasions that excite other people and disappear and other people miss him.
